Terms of Service
Effective Date: 4 August 2026
Version 2.0 - TeamThink Solutions (Pty) Ltd t/a Devv Technology
1. Parties
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are entered into between TeamThink Solutions (Pty) Ltd, trading as Devv Technology(“Devv”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and the person, business, organisation, partner, agency, author, creator, employee, contractor, or user who registers for, accesses, or uses any Devv product or service (“you” or “User”).
2. Agreement to Terms
By creating a Devv ID, accepting an invitation, accessing a sponsored product, paying an invoice, using a Devv application, or continuing to use any Devv service, you agree to these Terms and any applicable product-specific terms, agreement, order form, invoice, or signed contract. If you are using Devv on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
3. Scope of the Devv Ecosystem
These Terms apply to the Devv Hub and to the native products and service surfaces operated by Devv, including:
- Devv Hub - identity, billing, app access, partner access, legal, finance, support, and administration.
- PropOS and Devv Inspect - property operations, agency workflows, inspections, documents, teams, reports, and related mobile access.
- WeBook - booking, scheduling, clients, packages, team, reminders, and service-business operations.
- QR Orders - digital ordering, restaurant/venue operations, menus, sales, and related business tools.
- uStock - inventory, retail/POS, stock, offline-mode controls, receipts, reports, and team operations.
- Stagr - profile, booking, showcase, student portfolio, and talent-discovery surfaces.
- Ebook Reader - reader access, author submissions, book sales, author dashboards, and reviewed payout processes.
- Devv Studio and Teamthink service operations - project delivery, websites, invoices, client work, and service support where applicable.
Product-specific agreements, signed service agreements, partner agreements, invoices, or app-specific terms apply in addition to these Terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific written agreement governs that specific product, service, or transaction.
4. Account Registration and Devv ID
Your Devv ID is the account used to access the Devv ecosystem. You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share login credentials, impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, or use another user's account without permission. Unless Devv agrees otherwise in writing, each person should use one Devv ID.
5. Organisational Workspaces and Roles
Some Devv products operate through organisation workspaces. Workspace owners, principals, administrators, managers, agents, staff members, reviewers, partners, and observers may have different permissions. You are responsible for assigning roles carefully and removing access when a person no longer needs it. Devv may provide audit trails, access controls, and handover tools, but your organisation remains responsible for its own internal user decisions.
6. Paid Plans, Invoices, Sponsored Access, and Trials
Devv products may be provided through paid subscriptions, manual invoices, approved pilot access, trials, sponsored access, partner grants, or custom service arrangements.
- Paid plans are billed in South African Rand unless a written agreement states otherwise.
- Some app subscriptions are processed by Paystack; some service or pilot invoices may be issued directly by Devv.
- Sponsored access is a limited access benefit. It has no cash value, may not be resold, and may be revoked or changed where reasonably necessary.
- Trials and pilot periods do not guarantee continued free access after the trial or pilot ends.
- Prices, plan features, and seat limits may change with reasonable notice, except where a signed agreement fixes the commercial terms for a period.
7. Payment, Non-Payment, and Access Restrictions
You must pay amounts due by the date stated in the relevant checkout, invoice, order form, or agreement. If payment is not received, Devv may send reminders, pause support or maintenance, restrict administrative access, suspend paid features, or suspend the relevant service after reasonable notice. Public-facing client websites or hosted services will not be intentionally disrupted without a clear contractual basis, notice where practicable, and an appropriate grace process.
8. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Cancellations
Subscription cancellations usually take effect at the end of the current billing period unless a product-specific policy says otherwise. Partial refunds are not automatic. Refunds, chargebacks, reversals, failed payments, and fraudulent transactions may affect access, commission, author earnings, partner attribution, and payout eligibility. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable South African law.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- access or attempt to access another user's, client's, agency's, author's, or organisation's data without authority;
- circumvent authentication, role limits, billing gates, sponsored-access conditions, rate limits, or security controls;
- upload unlawful, defamatory, infringing, misleading, hateful, obscene, fraudulent, or harmful content;
- misrepresent Devv, TeamThink Solutions, any product, pricing, feature, commission, sponsorship, or legal status;
- use Devv products to spam, scrape, harass, exploit, reverse engineer, or build a competing service using non-public information;
- share sponsored access, sell access keys, or use complimentary access as a paid benefit for another person.
10. Data, POPIA, and Confidentiality
You must handle personal information and confidential information lawfully and only for the purpose for which it was provided. Where you enter client, tenant, staff, student, customer, author, booking, stock, payment, inspection, or partner information into Devv, you confirm that you have the authority to do so. You may not copy, sell, retain, or use personal information for unrelated purposes. The Privacy Policy explains how Devv processes personal information.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property relating to Devv software, source code, trademarks, logos, websites, databases, APIs, documentation, designs, workflows, product names, and systems remains the property of TeamThink Solutions (Pty) Ltd or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own lawful content and business data. You grant Devv the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and operate that content and data for the purpose of providing the relevant service.
12. User Content, Publications, and Partner Activity
Authors, creators, brand ambassadors, agencies, service providers, businesses, and partners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content they publish or submit. Devv may review, reject, remove, suspend, or request changes to content or partner activity that creates legal, security, brand, reputational, or operational risk.
13. Service Availability and Product Changes
Devv products are actively developed. Features may change, improve, be renamed, be replaced, or be discontinued. We will make reasonable efforts to keep core paid services available and to communicate material changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a specific uptime percentage, or permanent availability of every feature unless a separate written service-level agreement says so.
14. Third-Party Providers
Devv uses third-party providers for hosting, database, authentication infrastructure, email delivery, payments, storage, analytics, mobile updates, and operational tooling. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or failures caused by third-party systems outside our reasonable control, but we will make reasonable efforts to restore service and communicate material incidents.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Devv is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or incidental loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, or loss caused by unauthorised access resulting from your own credential sharing or internal access decisions. Where liability cannot be excluded, Devv's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid to Devv for the affected service in the preceding 12 months, unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
16. Suspension and Termination
Either party may end a service relationship in accordance with the applicable product flow, invoice, or agreement. Devv may suspend or terminate access where there is non-payment, misuse, fraud, security risk, material breach, unlawful conduct, reputational harm, or a legal requirement to do so. Where practicable, Devv will give notice and an opportunity to remedy a remediable breach before final termination.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be referred to the competent South African courts or another dispute-resolution process agreed in writing. Consumer protection rights apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Changes to These Terms
Devv may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email, or another reasonable channel. Continued use of a Devv service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
