Divine Heart’s entry into technology was driven by necessity, not just interest. Coming from a multidisciplinary background in accounting and real estate, he understood how businesses actually operate on the ground.

While studying at the University of Johannesburg, he observed a recurring problem: small and growing businesses in South Africa were underserved by existing digital tools. Most platforms were either too complex or built for foreign markets.

The result was a "digital gap"—business owners managing their appointments on WhatsApp, their finances in notebooks, and their clients in their heads.

Devv Technology was founded to bridge this gap. The philosophy is simple: Software should meet entrepreneurs where they are. Tools should be intuitive on day one, indispensable by week one, and powerful enough to scale for years.
